We think that both are important and so we take a best of both approach. The research aspect is situated at the university or institution where you officially enroll and become a student. Why would you want to take a research degree? What we have done is strategically design a value added development programme that fits directly into the type of concerns and subject matter that you will encounter as part of your research. You enroll as if (and your are) a student at a particular institution. You’re experience however is integrated in that you will do your research and the professional ‘curriculised’ aspects fits in directly with the experience. But since it is a research degree, and the professional development in actual fact is added you will not have to write exams and the like (unless the institution indeed has some module for you to take ‘in addition to our programme’)[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section i_icon_fontawesome=”fa fa-pie-chart” title=”Mediated” tab_id=”1464876202218-6a1a26f2-0390″ add_icon=”true”][vc_column_text]In our mediated model you also become a student at a particular institution but you fill out a form that we use to see if we can, on your behalf link the programme so that you do not have an expense separate to your institutional degree expenses. In this way we will be added as either the research supervisor or co-supervisor. If not successful there will be a fee on your part and a structure whereby you appoint us independently as an adjunct practice/field supervisor.
